Bio

Alok Roy: A Life of Art and Passion

Alok Roy's artistic journey is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance. His love affair with painting began in school, where his art teacher Late M. C. Pal nurtured his talent. Though life took him on a different path, leading to a successful 30 year corporate career, his artistic flame never flickered out.

Upon retirement, Alok rediscovered his first love, dedicating himself to painting with renewed vigor. Today, he is an active life member of the Indian National Forum of Art and Culture, engaging with fellow artists and enthusiasts. His own studio, PART Atelier, serves as a sanctuary for creative expression.

Alok's artistic journey has been enriched by participation in various group shows across India, showcasing his work alongside talented artists. His unique perspective, influenced by personal experiences, nature, and observations, shines through in his art. With each brushstroke, he aims to evoke emotions, tell stories, and provoke thought.

As the founder trustee member of the Guild of Fine Art & Artists, a public charitable trust, Alok is committed to promoting art and culture.
